Anyone who tries our food knows that we’re very particular about how things taste. And it’s no less at the bar. We’re famous for our selection of 120 tequilas, some quite old and rare. Why so many? So your margarita will taste exactly the way you want it.

Whether it’s a margarita, another cocktail, beer or wine, you’re going to find the perfect complement to your Mountain Mex® meal at the Hacienda Colorado® bar.

There are four different types of tequila. The classifications are based on the aging techniques of the tequila. Any of our tequilas can be made into a margarita for an additional $1.00.

BLANCOS

These tequilas are unaged, clear in color and may be bottled immediately after distillation or allowed to rest for no more than 60 days. Also known as Plata, Plato or Silver tequilas. This is a more robust, strong-flavored tequila.

RESPOSADOS

These "rested" tequilas are aged in oak barrels for at least two months to one year. This aging process gives this tequila its mellow flavor.

AÑEJOS

These "aged" tequilas are aged at least one year in small oak barrels, and sometimes up to seven years. This tequila is a dark amber and is considered the finest tequila.
